 Online quiz competition on COVID and its vaccination: NSS unit along with ISTE and YRC Organized an online Quiz competition on COVID and its vaccination to create awareness on the pandemic among the students. Principal Dr. Ravindra H.V. inaugurated the competition by uploading Quiz questions to the website of the college. In his inaugural address, he stressed the need for such competitions to create awareness and responsibilities among young people in present critical situation of Corona. Programme officer Dr.B.S Shivakumara rendered his introductory remarks on the competition. Programme officer Dr.B Shanmukha, Dr. Revanesh, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Prabhu and student leaders were graced the occasion.

Voluntary Blood Donation and Grouping Camp: was organized in the campus of the college. 205 units of blood were collected. 265 blood groupings were done on the occasion.

Open MIC-21 Competition: was organized at the new open-air theatre which had both singing and instrumental Competition. In Singing Competition held with following categories are: 1. Classical-may include Hindustani or Carnatic 2. Instrumental-Classical, Western or Film Music, 3 Film Hits- Includes Popular albums and 4 Bhavageete. Special encouragement has been given to compose and sing the songs on “Awareness on Corona”.

Online Poster Presentation contest: Wing has organized an Online Poster Presentation competition “Life after COVID era” to educate the students about the pandemic. Principal Dr. R.M Mahalinge Gowda inaugurated the contest by uploading information and guidelines about the contest to the website of the college. In his inaugural address, he told these types of contests are “Need of the Hour” to sustain in this critical situation. Programme officer Dr.Revanesh M was present along with Dr.B Shanmukha, and Sri Anantha Padmanabha Prabhu. Virtual Essay Competition: Wing has been organized Virtual essay competition on "The Role of Youth in Prevention and Eradication Corona Pandemic". Principal Dr.R.M. Mahalinge Gowda inaugurated the competition by uploading “Title of the Essay” and other guidelines to the website of the college. In his opening remarks, he stressed the need for such competitions to create awareness and responsibilities among young people in present thorny situation of Corona. Programme officer Dr Revanesh M spoke about the event to the particapants and media and requested the students to participate and make the event successful. Dr.B Shanmukha, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Prabhu, Dr B S Shivakumar and student volunteers Nishant Nayan and Adarsh were present during the inaugation.

 World Environment Day 2021 –was organized at PES college campus on 5th june 2021. The event was jointly organized by NSS unit of PESCE, District biofuel research, Information and Demonstration centre and District Forest department (Social Forestry division, Mandya). International Yoga Day: National Service Scheme Unit and Sports Department of P.E.S College of Engineering along with Youth Red Cross wing and ISTE Chapters, Mandya in collaboration with Patanjali Yoga Education Committee of Karnataka have celebrated the “International Yoga day” at H. D. Chowdaiah auditorium of P.E.S College of Engineering, Mandya. Principal of the college Dr. R. M. Mahalinge Gowda inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and stressed the importance of “Yoga” in the present pandemic situation. Programme officer Dr. Revanesh M shared his thoughts about the importance of yoga in day to day life and how regular practice of yoga can help in conditioning body and bringing balance between body and mind. Convener of District Patanjali Yoga Education Committee Sri ShankaranarayanaShastry, explained the importance of yoga by performing different asanas of yoga. Programme officer of the Young Red Cross wing Dr.B.Shanmukha, Secretary of the ISTE Chapter Dr. M.N. Veena, Chairman of ISTE chapter Dr.B S Shivakumar, Student welfare officer Sri M.A. Venugopal, Director of Physical Education and Sports Sri. Anantha Padmanabha Prabhu and other Heads of the department, Teaching and Non-teaching staffs and publics were present on the occasion.

 Five days COVID vaccination camp was organized on 24/6/21, 26/6/21, 28/6/21, 30/6/21 and 1/7/21. Totally 1542 students, members of the staff and publics were successfully vaccinated for corona pandemic.
