1. Intake of CS&E department has been increased from 120 to 180.

2. Started new emerging B.E. programs:

  • CS&E (AI & ML) with a intake of 60.
  • CS&E (Data Science) with a intake of 60.
  • Computer Science & Business Systems with a intake of 60.

The Computer Science and Engineering (CS&E) program was started in the year 1983.The main focus of the department is to produce graduates & post graduates with strong fundamentals in Computer Science and Engineering domain. The course is outcome based education with choice based credit system to help students to achieve their goal. The department has a total of 35 teaching faculty members with various specializations, out of which 10 are PhD holders and 20 are pursuing Ph.D. Faculties in the department have outstanding teaching experience. Department started its PG program in the year 2000 with the specialization of Computer Science and Engineering. .

Department has an outstanding placement statistics and our students have been placed in leading IT companies like DXC TECHNOLOGY, INFOSYS, TCS, IBM, BENZ, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, ORACLE, HCL, NOKIA, , L&T, JSPIDER, TECH MAHINDRA ,BYJU'S, GLOBAL EDGE, MINDTREE, SUBEX, ROBOSOFT, MPHASIS, AD2PRO and many more.

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with approved intake of 180 students and a lateral entry of 10% from 2nd year.
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) with approved intake of 60 students .
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) with approved intake of 60 students .

  • Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
